Colleen Smith, Progress' vice president of SaaS, was recognized as one of the top 100 Women in the Channel by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine for the second consecutive year. She, along with others, are chosen by the magazine's editors for their influence within the industry and executive achievements.
New Regional VP for Financial Services in EMEA
Progress Software has appointed Graeme Clark, a sales leader in financial services of 25 years', as regional vice-president for financial services in EMEA. He will handle improving Progress' position in capital markets organisations and boosting sales in the banking and insurance segments across the region.

Progress OpenEdge® SaaS platform is now certified for use in Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) after thorough testing and analysis. Due to the independent software vendors' demand for more OpenEdge-related deployment guidance around EC2, Progress also has a specific enablement program for helping its Application Partners (APs) bring their applications to the market more quickly than their competitors.
