SRL's Unique High Frequency Algorithmic Trading and Connectivity Solution

Statistical Research Laboratory (SRL), a company that develops software to deliver plug-and-play solutions to financial trading desks, has partnered with Progress to provide a complete trading technology solution for brokers and hedge funds.  The solution, powered by Progress Apama Complex Event Processing Platform, will offer "Broker in a box" technology and "Hedge fund in a box" capabilities.

STEMSOFT Gets Reliable Data Connectivity with DataDirect

STEMSOFT Software Inc. has put in the Progress® DataDirect Connect® for ADO.NET Entity Framework provider for the Oracle database in its cell-therapy manufacturing software. This will enhance application performance and deliver a flexible, secure connection to Oracle, DB2, Sybase, and Microsoft SQL Server. This company delivers end-to-end technology solutions for information management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance used by cellular therapy manufacturers, cord blood banks and clinical blood and marrow transplantation centers.

Apama for Brazilian Brokerage Firm

Banco Fator Corretora, a Brazilian bank and brokerage firm, has deployed the Progress® Apama® Algorithmic Trading Accelerator. According to Progress, the solution will "will play a critical role in Banco Fator’s new electronic trading strategy, enabling it to more effectively develop high frequency, proprietary trading tactics, rapid customization, and low latency execution of trades on behalf of its buy-side clients."
