Actional 8.0 has just been released by Progress, with more than 20 features to oversee your interconnected services and applications. You can use Actional to locate and diagnose and locate any transactional problems that might occur.
Here are some key features in Actional 8.0:
Application X-Ray
Discover and trace individual transaction’s flow across the production environment by relying on patented Actional Flow Mapping technology.
Agentless Management
You can now track messages, capture Service Level agreements and much more.
Exception Management
Your application support team can find and fix problems such as failed transactions resulting from incorrect data entry. Additionally, these failed business transactions can "be used to create run-time validation for detecting the problems more quickly, or to automatically create a test case that can be used by pre-production teams to ensure the problem is resolved the next time the application is updated," according to Progress.
