In its recent research report, Ovum, an industry analyst firm, placed Progress Savvion Business Process Manager platform in its “shortlist” category.  This report tracks BPM vendors across three criteria: market impact, end-user sentiment and technology offering, and puts vendors into one of three categories: explore, consider or shortlist.

According to Progress, "The Ovum report gives the Savvion BPM platform one of the top scores in the technology assessment, including the top score in Simulation and Testing, Runtime Process Management, and Analytics. The report also recognizes the flexibility delivered by the Savvion business process analysis (BPA), BPM systems (BPMS) and business process improvement (BPI) capabilities."
